Attorney
Attorney McCormack has assisted in representing many individuals and small businesses in employment disputes, real estate and landlord–tenant matters, and civil litigation. He is particularly passionate about advocating for employees, tenants, and other vulnerable clients who are navigating the legal system for the first time.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Attorney McCormack has lived and worked in the Commonwealth for most of his life. Prior to his legal career, he worked as a server in a wide range of restaurant settings, ranging from sports bars, chain restaurants, fine dining establishments, and private clubs. This front-line experience allows him to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, remain calm under pressure, and approach every matter with curiosity, respect, and a genuine desire to understand his clients’ lives and goals.
Attorney McCormack is a determined and an empathetic advocate, having worked as a consent educator for many years, travelling to high schools and colleges across the United States and Canada to facilitate programs and conversations with students and faculty and empower them with tools and resources to make meaningful change in their communities. Coupled with his background as an actor and storyteller, Attorney McCormack is able to give clients the space to share their stories fully and convey their experiences clearly and persuasively to opposing counsel, courts, and other decisionmakers. He strives to serve as a bridge between his clients and an often-intimidating legal process, helping them feel heard while working toward practical and meaningful results.
Since joining Lion’s Law, Attorney McCormack worked on a wide array of matters, including assisting employees with wrongful termination and wage-and-hour disputes, helping tenants and property owners resolve housing and real-estate conflicts, and navigating complex business and shareholder matters. As an attorney, he is known for his passion, determination, strong written and oral advocacy, and creative problem solving.

Assisted in employment discrimination and retaliation matters by drafting demand letters, complaints, and preliminary damages analysis for workers alleging discrimination, hostile work environment, and retaliatory discharge.

Assisted in representing an employee who was wrongfully terminated and discriminated against for her sexual orientation and participated in a mediation that resulted in a settlement exceeding $300,000.

Supported small property owners and tenants in lease and real-estate disputes, including reviewing lease terms, drafting complaints, and proposing creative resolutions.
