Michael Ohrenberger is a registered U.S. Patent Attorney with over seven years of experience advising clients in intellectual property, compliance, and transactional matters. He holds a J.D. from Elon University School of Law and an M.S. in Biotechnology (magna cum laude) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Michael has five years of experience preparing and prosecuting federal and state trademark applications, managing brand portfolios, conducting clearance searches, and advising on enforcement and licensing. In parallel, he has over seven years of experience supporting corporate and nonprofit clients in regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and risk management, including handling vendor agreements, employment matters, internal investigations, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
His federal litigation background includes representing government agencies and clients in administrative proceedings, mediations, and arbitration, with deep familiarity navigating EEOC, MSPB, and FDA-related matters. His patent experience spans a wide range of technologies, including biotechnology, immunology, virology, drug discovery, psychopharmacology, organic and analytical chemistry, recombinant proteins, medical devices, and biomaterials.
