Prior to joining the Immigration Department of Lion’s Law based in Princeton, New Jersey, Attorney Ye managed her own law firm and worked for prominent firms Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP and BDO Seidman in New York City. When working on securities class action litigations involving Chinese public companies, Attorney Ye had the opportunity to meet some high net-worth Chinese entrepreneurs who expressed their and their families’ needs to immigrate to U.S. To accommodate the immigration needs of potential clientele, Attorney Ye started her own immigration law practice in 2011.

Experience

  • Attorney Ye has assisted dozens of EB-5 investors and their families in obtaining permanent residency via direct investment or investment in USCIS designated regional centers. Attorney Ye has excellent track record in filing EB-5 related petitions with 100% approval rate.

  • She has represented multiple U.S. real estate developers to successfully apply for USCIS EB-5 regional center designations and file annual reports. Attorney Ye has extensive experience in preparing the EB-5 investor’s legal source of funds evidence, as well as working with third party economist and business plan writing team on the job creation economic analysis, business plan and comprehensive operational plan in compliance with USCIS requirements.

  • Attorney Ye helped investors from Taiwan and Hong Kong to obtain E-2 visas, subsequently converted the E-2 investment into EB-5 direct investment and successfully obtained green cards for these investors.  In addition, Attorney Ye has also been versed in filing other business and employment-based immigrant petitions such as EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2, NIW, EB-3 and non-immigrant visas such as H-1B, L-1, O-1, etc. She has assisted scholars and researchers in U.S. and entrepreneurs with academic background from China to successfully obtain green cards via EB-1A and EB-2 NIW. Attorney Ye has also applied for L-1 visa and eventually green cards via EB-1C for intracompany executives and managers of international companies.

  • Attorney Ye is truly passionate about immigration law and legal writing, as she believes that a legal status is the very first step to realize American dream, and that the legal memo/ petition letter drafted by immigration attorney for any immigrant petition or non-immigrant visa application is the most important document to demonstrate the petitioner/ applicant’s qualifications in an organized and systematic way and plays a key role in the USCIS officer’s understanding of the petitioner/applicant’s eligibilities and decision of either approval or denial. Therefore, Attorney Ye takes a proactive, detailed oriented and customized approach in handling each and every case, from clients intaking, supporting documentation collection, drafting legal memo, preparing filing package to the final submission to USCIS, in order to ensure compliance with USCIS requirements. 

  • Born and raised in Shanghai, Attorney Ye has been an avid writer since very young age and had won numerous prizes of writing competitions at elementary and middle school levels. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from East China Normal University and a master’s degree in English language and literature with concentration in translation from Shanghai International Studies University. As such, Attorney Ye has a solid background in English language and western culture with outstanding English writing, communication and translation skills.
